Privacy policy

Who runs Stellii

[Name and postal address of the operator]. Privacy questions and data requests: privacy@stellii.ch. Anything else: hello@stellii.ch.

What we store

Your email address and sign-in details; the profile, CVs and documents you add; your applications, timelines and answers; the contacts and notes you add; feedback you send us, which we read; and how many AI features you've used.

Who can access it

Other users can't access your data, and nothing is public. Data is encrypted in transit and when stored. The app's admin pages show no user data, and we don't look at it. This is our policy rather than a technical guarantee: your data isn't end-to-end encrypted, because the AI has to read it, so whoever operates the systems below could technically reach it.

AI

When you use an AI feature, the text that feature needs is sent to Mistral. This can include your profile, CV and the job ad. Contact notes and relationship labels aren't sent.

Services we use

Supabase (database, files, sign-in), Vercel (hosting) and Mistral (AI). Google or LinkedIn, only if you sign in with them. DuckDuckGo, for company icons: it sees the company's web address, not who is asking. For commute times and company details: geo.admin.ch, transport.opendata.ch, openrouteservice and the Swiss commercial register. These receive the places or company names needed, not your name. Our server also reads the job ads and company websites you point it to.

Other people's details

Contacts hold details about other people. Add only what you need. When you import from a phone, the file is read on your device and only the people you tick are saved.

Selling data

We don't sell your data.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, and your browser's storage for preferences such as the theme. We use no advertising cookies.

Keeping and deleting

You can delete an application or a contact at any time, and your whole account in Settings. That removes your data and files straight away; copies in the backups of our providers disappear when those backups expire. We only keep anonymous counts that can't be linked to you, such as how often a question was marked unclear. To get a copy of your data, use Download my data in Settings.

Your rights

Under Swiss and EU data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can complain to the data protection authority.
